The desk I've always wanted

Verified

Pros

  • +Cable management is a game-changer
  • +Magnetic accessories attach in seconds
  • +Zero wobble even at full standing height

Cons

  • -Very expensive when you add the accessories
  • -Heavy — took 3 people to move upstairs

I've owned five standing desks over eight years. The Magnus Pro is the first one that solved cable management completely. The integrated channel runs cables invisibly from the monitors to a power brick mounted under the desk. Everything is magnetic — my monitor arm snaps on and off in 10 seconds. The steel surface never scratches, stains, or shows wear. It is expensive but it is also a permanent fixture in my office. I'll never buy another desk.

Incredible desk, cold surface is a real issue

Verified
By Sophie G.Owned 4 monthsintermediate user2026-01-07

Pros

  • +Best cable management of any desk
  • +Build quality is truly exceptional
  • +Magnets make accessory changes trivial

Cons

  • -Steel surface is freezing in UK winter
  • -Had to buy a desk mat to make it usable in cold months
  • -Accessories are expensive

In October, my Magnus Pro became painfully cold to work on. The steel surface conducts cold from the room air directly to your forearms. I had to buy a large leather desk mat just to keep it bearable in winter. In summer it's fine. Secretlab should include a mat or at least warn buyers in cold climates. The actual desk mechanics are flawless — it's the most beautifully engineered standing desk I've used. Just factor in a mat for winter if you're in a cold country.

Perfect for my streaming setup

Declared
By Zach M.Owned 7 monthsexpert user2025-12-30

Pros

  • +Looks incredible on camera
  • +All cables invisible
  • +Magnetic LED lighting is perfect for streaming backdrops

Cons

  • -Very hard to move if you rearrange
  • -Premium price adds up with full accessory kit

I stream on Twitch and YouTube and my desk is always in frame. The Magnus Pro looks like a NASA mission control desk on camera. The magnetic LED strip mounts under the monitor arm in minutes and all cables are invisible. My stream quality went up after the desk upgrade — viewers constantly ask what it is. The magnetic ecosystem means I can reconfigure my setup in minutes. For content creators and streamers, this is the best desk on the market, period.
