Keurig K-Elite

I manage a team of 12 people and we've had this Keurig for three years. In that time, it has made thousands of cups of coffee without a single breakdown. The 75oz tank is crucial — in an office setting, nobody wants to constantly refill. The iced coffee mode has become our most popular feature in summer. For office use, this is an easy recommendation. Just factor in the ongoing K-Cup cost when budgeting.

If your priority is pure convenience, the K-Elite delivers. Press button, get coffee, done. But a year in, I find myself thinking about the waste I'm creating. I've switched to the reusable My K-Cup filter about 50% of the time, which helps both on cost and waste. The coffee quality is solidly mediocre — fine for waking up, not satisfying for savoring. I keep it because it's reliable and easy, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.

For 7 months this was perfectly fine. Then it got stuck in descale mode and refused to brew even after completing the descale process three times. Spent a week going back and forth with Keurig support who kept telling me to repeat the same steps. Eventually a factory reset fixed it, but it lost all my settings. Then the needle clogged twice in two months. My neighbor has a cheaper Keurig that's been going for 5 years without issues — I think I just got unlucky, but the support experience was very frustrating.
