Bluetti AC200L

We travel full-time in our fifth-wheel and the AC200L replaced our need for an RV generator entirely when boondocking. The TT-30 RV outlet powers our converter which then distributes to all our 12V systems — lights, water pump, fans — exactly like shore power. We charge it with four 200W Bluetti panels during the day and it's usually full by early afternoon. The combined solar plus AC charging is brilliant when we're at a campsite with hookups and want to top off fast. The weight is genuinely challenging — this is a two-person unit. But the RV-specific functionality makes it our top recommendation for other full-timers.

I've done side-by-side testing with EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, Jackery 1000 Plus, and this AC200L for a review series. The Bluetti wins on features for RV users — TT-30 outlet and dual 100W USB-C are genuinely better than competitors. But it's the heaviest by a significant margin (28kg vs 23kg for EcoFlow) and the slowest to recharge on AC. For a fixed installation like an RV or cabin generator replacement, the weight doesn't matter and these feature advantages are significant. For a unit you'll move regularly, EcoFlow or Jackery are more practical.

We have a cabin in the mountains with unreliable grid power and the AC200L with four solar panels has become our primary power source. The 2048Wh capacity sustains lighting, a small fridge, laptop charging, and phone charging for 2-3 days without solar input — crucial during the cloudy stretches. When the sun returns, 1200W solar input means we're back to full in 2 hours. We placed it on a wooden platform when we first installed it and it hasn't moved since — the weight is irrelevant for a fixed installation. Seven months, zero issues, and it's changed how we use the cabin completely.
